Austin Green Building Seminar

McCoy’s headquarters is less than an hour away from Austin, Texas, so we hear a lot of the green building buzz coming out of the Texas capital city. This weekend Austin will be hosting the Green Living Expo at the Austin Convention Center. And while we’re probably going to skip the free yoga classes (it’s hard to twist like a pretzel when you’re wearing a tool belt), we’re definitely going to try to catch Peter Pfeiffer’s seminar, “A Nuts & Bolts Approach to Green Building & Remodeling.” We caught his act at the Lumbermen’s Association of Texas Convention and couldn’t stop talking about his ideas on designing and building high performance houses. If you’re in the area, we hope to see you there.
