When people think of Austin, Texas, many people refer to the city as the "live music capitol of the world." OK, that's probably a bit bold, but there is a ton of live music to be heard on any given night. And of course there's the great University of Texas and the State Capitol. In fact, some give Austin credit for establishing the countries first local green building program back in 1991. And it's good to see the city continue to get kudos for being at the forefront of innovative green building programs helping both local builders and home buyers.
