You've done your research and your planning, and you've selected your contractor. It's time to get started on that remodeling project. And you're excited about the fact that the project will be incorporating as many "green" elements as you can.

But don't forget that during and after the job, there are things you can be doing to minimize the impact the work is having on the indoor air quality of your home. Remodeling projects are typically dirty, dusty and will generate some amount of scrap materials and trash. Being prepared to deal with it all will help minimize the impact of the project on your quality of life.
