flames Last year we first told you about using autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) as a fire-resistant building material. But it is so much more! AAC may be the greenest and most beneficial material out there. Consider this: its manufacture has a minimal impact on the environment; it’s recyclable; it doesn’t off gas; it provides thermal and sound insulation; and, in addition to its resistance to fire, it is termite and water resistant. Concrete never looked so good!
