EPA delays lead paint rule enforcement
The EPA’s so-called “lead paint rule” that went into effect on April 22 has left many contractors scrambling for certification. For those of you who haven’t participated in the mandatory lead paint safety training yet, you’ve just been issued a reprieve. Last Friday, the EPA announced that they will be delaying enforcement of the Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule until October 1.
