The EPA’s new Lead Paint Rule that went into effect on April 22 has repair and remodeler specialists and contractors scrambling to remain in compliance. These one-day training courses in lead-safe work practices offered by EPA-approved training providers is mandatory for contractors who work in homes built before 1978.

Classes teach the specific work practices that contractors need to protect themselves and their clients from lead contamination, allowing them and their firm to work legally. Certification is immediate upon successful completion of the training class.
