Platinum LEED certified green golf course

The other day we had a posting about the first LEED certified prision in the U.S. and now we have our first LEED Platinum golf course. Brought to you by none other than ... Justin Timberlake of course. We're not making this stuff up.

The pop star's involved in a business venture in North Shelby County, Tennessee, called the Mirimichi Lakes golf club. The $16 million project is still a work in progress and more LEED certification is in the works. Mr. Timberlake says, "I asked questions about what we could possibly do, and we found out we could actually make it a ‘green course.'" And so he did!
