If you haven't already done so, it's time to start thinking about your 2009 taxes. Yeah, it's only January, but April will be here before you know it. And did you remember all the various tax breaks that are available on certain energy efficient home improvements you may have tackled last year?

The following is a good reminder and refresher on what tax breaks are available for the 2009 tax year. If you haven't checked up on this lately, some things have changed so it might be worth your time to review. And, some of the credits have been extended for the 2010 tax year, so it's still not too late to upgrade your home and save.
