J.D. Power and Associates does not think that hybrid cars or other manner of eco-friendly automobiles are going to ever sell very well. Power thinks that a down economy and high buy-in costs may prevent hybrid cars from selling well for a while. The environmentally conscious are running up against a brick wall that is just inescapable. Basic economics trumps idealism every time.
Here is the proof: J.D. Power doubts hybrid and green car sales will pick up.
