An oldie but greenie

As we talked about a while back in this blog, around the first of the year the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) approved the National Green Building Standard. This has given the National Green Building Standard some added credibility. And as such, residential builders and remodelers have begun projects building to those standards.

The good news here is we now have our first first home remodel to earn the green certification under the National Green Building Standard. The NAHB announced that a remodel job in Munster, Ind. has met the mark. It's good to see that a 35-year-old home can be remodeled to today's green building standards.
