Energy Star Qualified Homes

Even in this down economy, there's some good news on the green building front. We all know that building green, if done properly, can save you money over the lifetime of your new home. But one persistent concern we hear is that consumers may not be willing to pay extra for something now that they trust will benefit them years down the road.

But the following two links help to ease some of those concerns. The first one talks about the fact that Energy Star certified homes are gaining in market share. And the second post talks about how when surveyed, consumers indicated they are in fact willing to pay the up charge to get a more energy-efficient home.
