Spring brings pesky pests

As the weather warms up and it seems that all of humanity is outside enjoying nature again, we need to be careful that nature isn’t using this opportunity to take up residence inside. Late winter and early spring is the perfect time for carpenter ant populations to take a bite out of your home. These pests look for moist dead wood to burrow into and can cause major structural damage to your home if left unchecked. So if you’ve been noticing any winged black ants in or around your home or have any old tree stumps on your property with channels and grooves bore into them, take a minute to review some simple solutions to what could turn into a major pest control problem.
