Cool product alert! Jeff Hamilton of Jeff Hamilton Construction in Nacogdoches, Texas recently tipped us off about Homesulate, a multi-purpose insulating foam.

This wall foam insulation for existing homes is a certified Energy Star thermal wall cavity fill insulation with the benefit of 5.1 per inch R-value, one of the highest R-values of any retrofit foam insulation on the market. It also has the added perks of reducing outside noise by 80 percent and a class A fire rating. This product can be used over existing cellulose or batt insulation. It can be installed through interior or exterior walls with a drill and an injector. Check out this video that shows an installation of Homesulate through a brick exterior wall.
