What’s the Big Deal with Energy Star Products

I am sure we have all been to the store lately and are seeing these Energy Star labels showing up on more and more products. As a consumer, I am not really sure exactly what they mean, but I am assuming it's something good. Energy Star ... I am helping the environment ... right?

The following piece does a little better job of explaining the origins of the Energy Star program and the impact it is being credited with. As with a lot of things, every little bit helps, and the more Energy Star products that make their way into our homes, the more we're contributing to a more sustainable future.
