Your honor, that house is NOT green!
I guess we should have all seen this coming. So you contract with a builder to build your dream home. And, you are all excited because he is a "green builder," and in his promotional literature he makes some very compelling claims as to why his homes are "greener" than others on the market...and more expensive.
But what happens if you move in and a year down the line you don't think the house is delivering as it was advertised. You do some snooping around and find out your energy costs to run the home are about the same as your neighbors who built using conventional methods and materials. What's a frustrated homeowner to do?
Well, you go contact your lawyer of course!
