Look For the P Sticker On Our Name Badge

Country know-how is good and everything, but there's no substitute for old fashioned Farm & Ranch Training by our top vendors. You learn best by doing. That’s why McCoy’s Building Supply sends our team of Priefert ranch equipment experts for hands-on training at a working ranch in Mount Pleasant, Texas.

Our traveling farm and ranch sales specialist, Cliff Mulanax, along with experts from our trusted manufacturers, show team members what our equipment looks like in action. The two-day course includes a tour of the manufacturing plant, instruction on all the attributes of various Priefert ranch handling equipment plus “in the trenches” handling of cattle through a sweep system, squeeze chute and head gate.

So when you have questions like “What’s the difference between a Priefert SO1 and an SO4 squeeze chute?”… one of our specialists can tell you because they’ve used them both. Our McCoy’s “Priefert Experts” are easily identified by their farm and ranch savvy and the blue Priefert P’s on their name badges. They can supply you with the information you’ll need to purchase anything from a simple farm gate or squeeze chute to an entire horse corral system or rodeo arena. I guess you could say they have a passion for the agri-business industry!

If you have a question about a product, you can also contact us on-line at farm.ranch@mccoys.com.

Look For the Mc Sticker On Our Name Badge

The next time you meet one of our sales associates sporting a white sticker containing the McCoy’s “Mc” brand in the middle, you’ll know that you’re talking to one of the newest experts in both wire fencing and farm & ranch equipment. Considered the “Green Berets” of our Farm & Ranch sales team, these folks have been to multiple training sessions to learn about barbed wire, electrical wire and just about any piece of farm or ranch equipment Priefert manufactures. Since the program’s inception early this year, we have had five specialists graduate…with more on the way!
