Ortiz to manage Kingsville McCoy’s Building Supply

KINGSVILLE, Texas–McCoy’s Building Supply announced today the appointment of Bo Ortiz as the Manager of its store located at 2202 East Carlos Truan Blvd.

Formerly an Assistant Manager at McCoy’s Weslaco, Texas location, Ortiz is joined in the move to Kingsville by his wife of 15 years, Lillian, and children Amanda, 14, and Ryan, 11.

“My family is really supportive, and I’ve got a great team here at the Kingsville store,” Ortiz says. “I am committed to providing the Kingsville market with the products and service they need. I’ve worked in the building supply industry since 1995, and I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to the Kingsville community.”

When asked about future plans for the store Ortiz says the focus is simple.

“I want McCoy’s to be the place to shop for building materials in Kingsville,” Ortiz says. “We already have an extensive product selection in place today and if you don’t see it, we can order it. Our Specials Orders system is better than ever, and there’s not much that we can’t locate for you.”

He goes on to add that community members can expect an exceptional shopping experience when they visit his store.

“Integrity and dedication is key to running a successful business,” he says. “My team and I want to support our customers with anything they need and help them take their projects through from start to finish.”

Regional Manager Chester Varnell expressed enthusiasm at the opportunity of working with an experienced manager like Ortiz.

“I believe Bo’s broad spectrum of experience the field is going to be a real asset to the Kingsville crew," Varnell says. "I love his enthusiasm and his dedication to the job. And his wife and children are excited about making Kingsville their home.”
