Priefert's rock-solid reputation for quality stems from the
company's humble beginnings. Commercial cattleman and Priefert
Manufacturing founder Marvin Priefert, borrowing from veterinary
techniques, figured out how to make cattle handling faster and more
efficient. Working in his one-man shop on the farm, Priefert designed,
patented and began marketing the cattle industry's first walk-through
front-exit headgate.
Today, approximately 1500 dealers throughout the United States and
in foreign countries distribute Priefert products. The company employs
over 300 people in its 300,000 square foot plant. They manufacture
