Community Investment

"McCoy's Building Supply" stands for more than building supplies — it stands for building community. We've been committed to improving communities since the early 1950s, and we currently support the following community service organizations:

American Red Cross

The American Red Cross provides relief to victims of disasters and works to help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. McCoy's accepts Red Cross vouchers, which are distributed to disaster victims to help them begin their recoveries, at all of our stores.

Christmas in April

Christmas in April's mission is to preserve and revitalize houses and communities, assuring that the needy live in warmth, safety and independence. All affiliates plan and prepare for National Rebuilding Day, typically held on the last Saturday in April. McCoy's supports various Christmas in April affiliates throughout the markets it serves.

Good Neighbor Settlement House

Good Neighbor Settlement House, Inc. is a community service center related to the United Methodist Church and operating with the support of the United Way. GNSH volunteer groups work to repair homes for the elderly, the handicapped and others. McCoy's has been donating materials to their cause for over 10 years.

Sea City Work Camp

Sea City Work Camp is a housing rehabilitation work camp sponsored by the Corpus Christi (Texas) District of the United Methodist Church. The camp's work serves low-income homeowners in the Corpus Christi area. McCoy's has been donating materials to the Sea City Work Camp since 1993.

UM Army

A nonprofit organization, the United Methodist Action Reach-out Mission by Youth (UM Army) provides Christ-centered youth work camps that serve people in need and promote spiritual growth and leadership development. People of all denominations and beliefs participate in and are served by UM ARMY. McCoy's lends its support to this organization by donating materials to work camps that take place in its markets.

Safe At Home

Safe At Home is a volunteer community service program dedicated to reducing the risk of death and injury from falls in the home. Safe At Home (SAH) was grant funded by The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, a national foundation established to enhance the health and healthcare of elderly and disabled individuals, and the Texas Long Term Care Institute in 2000.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian community service organization working to build affordable houses in partnership with those in need. McCoy's lends material support to various Habitat for Humanity chapters throughout the markets it serves. chapters throughout the markets it serves.

Mission Service Project

Mission Service Project remodels homes in the colonies northwest of Mission, Texas. Each year the organization helps elderly and other less fortunate people repair critical parts of their homes. McCoy's proudly donates materials to MSP.
