Hardwood Plywood at McCoy’s
Hardwood plywood is built for strength and beauty. Built from three or more layers of wood bonded by adhesive, heat and pressure, the contrasting grain direction of the layers, bound at right angles, adds durability and strength to the plywood. Slicing techniques offer up a variety of looks and grains for face veneers. Hardwood plywood is great for cabinetry, shelving, tables, chairs and more.
The American National Standard Institute (ANSI) grades plywood veneer faces AA, A, B, C, D and E with AA as the best quality. Backs are graded 1, 2, 3 or 4, with 1 being the best. So a B2 panel has a B-grade face with a 2-grade back, a C4 panel has a C-grade face with a 4-grade back, and so on.
