McCoy’s is proud to support TEXSAR, Texas Search and Rescue, and their unrelenting dedication to search and rescue missions. At McCoy’s, we always strive to be a good neighbor and help in times of need. That’s why we have supported
TEXSAR for their volunteer work in assisting Texas families and law enforcement in search and rescue, missing person cases, and disaster management capabilities. In just 2022 alone, volunteers put in 27,077 hours of assistance with 71 deployments
and 99,800 miles traveled.
"TEXSAR is grateful for the support from Texas-based companies like McCoy's who helps further our mission. Our volunteers just want to do good and help people, they are just Texans helping their fellow Texans." - Justin McInnis, TEXSAR President and CEO
For 19 years, TEXSAR has been deploying invaluable search and rescue teams when their fellow Texans need them most. In 2022, Hays County, home to our headquarters, declared May 23-29 as Search and Rescue Awareness Week. SAR Week falls on the anniversary of the 2015 Memorial Day Flood in Hays County when TEXSAR teams worked tirelessly to rescue and aid as many people affected by the floods as they could.
