ZIP System sheathing and tape is an innovative, one-of-a-kind structural roof and wall system with a built-in, energy efficient barrier that keeps moisture out and reduces air leakage. Plus, it won’t tear or blow off. With continuous air barrier and foam insulation, the ZIP System® Insulated R-Sheathing provides a higher R-value and promotes greater energy efficiency than traditional housewrap.
The simple two-step installation of ZIP System is so easy it turns taping into a one-man job, and so fast it installs up to 40% quicker than housewrap- simply butt the panels and tape the seams! Zip System’s Stretch Tape makes it easier to flash tricky areas by adhering to a variety of surfaces and can be stretched and molded to ensure a snug fit around pipes, corners sills and curves. The Stretch Tape Roller makes it even easier to access the hard to reach spots like corners, doors and windows. Plus, its R-Sheathing features a protective weather barrier integrated directly onto the panel, so there is no need to cover it with housewrap, one panel has it all.
Now through December 31, 2020, first time users can save up to $1,250 on Zip System roof and wall sheathing.
If you own a home, you know that during a storm or extreme weather, your roof is your first line of defense. The ZIP System roof deck system, sealed with advanced acrylic tape at the seams, has a water-resistant barrier built in and can add to your homes structural durability. This means that if your shingles are blown off in a high wind event, your underlayment will still be there to protect your home. Additionally, these panels provide thermal and air resistance, insulating your home and helping you meet energy requirements from building codes and green building programs. This energy efficient air and moisture barrier can also help reduce energy bills and increase indoor air quality by keeping out dust, odors, insects and other pollutants while preventing wood rot and mold.
Huber Zip System® is available in stock in select stores, with a 2-week availability in all McCoy’s stores.
