McCoy’s Building Supply Invests One Million Dollars in Austin Habitat for Humanity

McCoy’s Building Supply is proud to support Habitat for Humanity and its many affiliates. In October 2022, it was announced that McCoy’s had donated one million dollars to Austin Habitat for Humanity earmarked to purchase land in Hays and Caldwell countries.

Helping Families Achieve Homeownership

Since 1985, Austin Habitat for Humanity has built over 500 affordable homes across Central Texas. The organization founded the nation's first ReStore in 1992. Driven by the mission of seeking to put God's love into action, Austin Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.

Impacting Hays and Caldwell Counties

McCoy’s Building Supply has been headquartered in San Marcos, Texas since 1972 witnessing the area’s impressive growth, particularly in recent years as the cost of housing has risen. The company also announced in early 2023 its expansion to Lockhart, Texas located in Caldwell County. This donation has roots designed to make a local impact.
