Carlos O. Garcia Named Regional Manager

McCoy’s Building Supply recently announced the promotion of Carlos O. Garcia to Regional Manager. Garcia joins the company’s team of eight Regional Managers and will oversee 11 stores in the heart of Central Texas.

“I’m so excited for Carlos to take on this new role,” said Ron Van Winkle, Vice President of Operations. “His understanding of our business and his willingness to learn has allowed him to grow at every step of his career. He’s a dedicated mentor who always encourages those around him to grow as well.”

When talking with Garcia about his goals as Regional Manager, his focus on cultivating strong leaders was evident. “I want to see our leaders reach their potential surrounded by a caring, connected team,” said Garcia. “Providing that support for our store teams helps us deliver on our promises of making life easier and more fulfilling to our customers by giving them personalized service that they won’t find anywhere else.”

Garcia, a native of Kingsville, TX, started his career with McCoy’s 15 years ago working in commercial sales at his hometown McCoy’s store before joining the company’s Management Development Program. He’s spent the past 11 years as Store Manager of the Georgetown, TX, store.
