Matt Daughrity Named Manager of New Caney McCoy’s Building Supply

McCoy's Building Supply is proud to announce the appointment of Matt Daughrity as store manager of its New Caney, TX, location. The new store is set to open April 2026 with a grand opening celebration to follow.

“Our team is excited to bring McCoy's commitment to service, quality, and local relationships to New Caney,” said Daughrity, a Houston area native. “We're here to support homeowners, contractors, and businesses with knowledgeable people, dependable products, and the kind of service that makes a difference in our community.”

Daughrity began his career at McCoy's in 2018. He enrolled in the company's Management Development Program and was promoted to assistant manager in Brazoria, TX. He has managed the McCoy's in Belton, TX since 2022.

The New Caney store will feature McCoy's easy in, easy out design, making it convenient for customers to find the tools, paint, household essentials, and supplies they need. A full selection of building materials and farm and ranch products will be available in store and online supporting projects of every size. The location will also include a large, covered, drive-thru lumberyard sitting on 3.5 acres and a fleet of forklifts and delivery trucks.
