McCoy's Building Supply is Now Open in New Caney, TX

McCoy's Building Supply in New Caney, TX located at 21989 State Highway 242 opened on April 20, 2026. The new store features 15,000 square feet of inside retail space and a paved, drive-thru lumberyard.

The New Caney store is managed by Matt Daughrity who joined McCoy's in 2018. Most recently, he was store manager of McCoy’s Belton, TX location. "We're here to support homeowners, contractors, and businesses with knowledgeable people, dependable products, and the kind of service that makes a difference in our community," said Daughrity.

Designed by Studio 8 Architects, the new McCoy’s store offers a wide selection of high‑quality building materials and home maintenance supplies, available both in-store and online, with convenient delivery options. Store hours are Monday–Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. McCoy's stores are always closed on Sundays.

Continuing a long-standing McCoy's tradition, the store will celebrate its opening with a board‑cutting ceremony along with a traditional ribbon‑cutting. The New Caney board cutting will take place on Thursday, May 14 at 11:30 a.m.

Grand Opening Week will run May 11–16, featuring giveaways and treats from local vendors as part of the celebration of McCoy's newest location. The community is welcome and encouraged to attend. More details about the Grand Opening can be found on mccoys.com.
