Mike Cook Named Regional Manager at McCoy’s Building Supply

McCoy’s Building Supply recently announced the promotion of Mike Cook to Regional Manager. He will oversee twelve stores in the greater Houston area. 

Cook, a graduate of Texas State University, started his career with McCoy’s 13 years ago as part of the company’s Management Development Program working at the Tomball, Texas store. He honed his customer-centric approach to the building supply industry and served as assistant manager at several locations before being promoted to store manager. Most recently, he was store manager in Cleveland, Texas, leading that team since 2014. 

When Cook was asked about what he was most excited about in his new role, his admiration for McCoy’s customer-service focused culture had the chance to shine through. “I love connecting with our customers and our teams,” said Cook. “I was blessed to spend nearly a decade in Cleveland with our customers and I’m excited to meet even more customers throughout the entire region while working with our great teams.”
