Walker Promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations and Merchandising at McCoy’s Building Supply

McCoy’s Building Supply is excited to announce the promotion of Waylon Walker to Senior Vice President of Operations and Merchandising. 

Walker is a 25 year McCoy’s leader, beginning his career as a management trainee and working as Assistant Store Manager, Loss Prevention team member, Store Manager, Regional Manager and most recently as Vice President of Operations. “Waylon is a proven, people-centered leader. He has the skill, vision and drive to help McCoy’s stay strong and growing,” said Brian McCoy, President and CEO. “His promotion is a continued part of our ongoing Next Generation plan for the future.”

In his new role, Walker will oversee all aspects of the merchandising, sales and customer service at the company’s 87 stores. “McCoy’s is a one-of-a-kind company. I am honored and humbled to have the opportunity to lead our Operation and Merchandising teams as we build on the solid foundation established by so many before us,” shared Walker. “Integrity and ingenuity will be paramount as we serve our customers and work with our vendor partners.”
