263 Fuse Reducer, Non-Rejection, For: Bussmann Series NON/REN (250 V) and NOS/RES (600 V) Fuses

A range of Bussman Series fuse reducers for Class H/K, J and R ferrule and blade fuses. Fuse reducers install on fuse ferrules or blades to permit the application of smaller size fuses than those for which the fuse blocks or holders are designed. Fuse reducers allow a smaller size fuse to be installed in a fuse block intended for a larger fuse. For example: a 30 A fuse is 2 in long and will not fit into a 60 A fuse block (which is three inches between clips). A #263 reducer installed on the fuse permits it to be installed in a 60 A fuse block. Reducers are particularly useful when equipment is being converted. Proper protection can be maintained without the expense of replacing the fuse block. Catalog numbers with the "-R" suffix (#263-R fit rejection (Class R) fuse blocks.
