5/8" x 15' Tie Rod Hot Dipped Galvanized. Tieback anchor rods are hot dipped galvanized horizontal rods that are used to reinforce retaining walls and sea walls. One end of the rod gets secured to the wall and the other gets anchored to a stable structure, such as a concrete deadman, that is anchored beneath the ground with sufficient resistance. The tieback/deadman system resists forces, such as backfilled soils plus rainwater, that would otherwise cause the wall to lean.
