Grip-Rite® drywall shims are used for floating butt-joints to improve or correct framing irregularities. These shims can be attached with nails or screws to framing members of each side of a butt-joint to allow a greater inset at the drywall joint. Grip-Rite® drywall shims comes in 1-1/2 x 45 in. in length.
