The Halo H5 Series is designed to accommodate smaller sized PAR20 and PAR30 halogen lamps. The wide variety of trims available allows a number of different lighting effects to be created with one basic housing. The H5 trim size makes the H5RICAT the right choice for applications where dramatic yet inconspicuous lighting is required in an existing ceiling. This is an AIR-TITE™ housing and may be used to meet restricted air flow requirements.
- Remodel springs accommodate 1/2 in and 5/8 in ceiling material
- NM cable pryouts and conduit knockouts in junction box
- Gasketed die-stamped 20 ga aluminum, housing will slip through 5-1/2 in ceiling opening, integral flange secures fixture against ceiling, housing accommodates a wide range of halo 5 in trims, torsion springs on all trims
- Seven conduit knockouts are uniform 1/2 in size with true pryout slots, four Romex pryouts simplify Romex installation
- Three quick-connect connectors eliminate need for separate wire nuts - simply strip supply wires and push in
- Porcelain socket with nickel-plated brass screw shell, snaps into trim for consistent lamp positioning
- Integral thermal protector deactivates fixture if an incorrect lamp is used or if ceiling insulation material is not applied correctly
