The Curt universal trailer coupler lock is compatible with trailers with 1-7/8, 2 or 2-5/16 in couplers. The ratchet-style mechanism allows you to secure any trailer quickly and easily by placing the lock base into the coupler and then sliding the U-bar over the nose of the coupler into the lock. To unlock, simply turn the key a quarter turn, and you're good to go. The ratcheting u-lock provides extended security and prevents the movement of the lock base as it occupies the coupler, securing your trailer coupler by preventing the removal of the lock. Featuring an orange powder-coat finish, the bright orange color deters thieves and provides high-visibility from afar which allows you to see the lock from a distance, making it easy-to spot tampering and interference. The chrome-plated U-lock, lock base and ratcheting mechanism are built to last and provide robust security while being corrosion-resistant.
