S 4634 Mailbox Lock, Tumbler Lock, Steel, Brass

This mailbox lock is constructed of die-cast and comes with a chrome-plated face. A security feature of this lock prevents the key from being removed when in the unlocked position, this feature assists in preventing the mailbox user from failing to lock the mailbox, prior to walking away with the key. It includes a total of nine zinc-plated steel cams, brass pins, a spring steel locking clip and two keys. To unlock this mailbox lock, the key must rotate 90 deg in a counter clockwise direction. Replaces many original manufacturer's locks and it is used by many. Uses ILCO 51064A (NA14) as used by Hudson Keyway and it is keyed different from others.
