How do I export my data to use with my preferred accounting program or software?

A CSV, or comma separated value, spreadsheet is a digital file that can be used by most accounting programs, such as QuickBooks, Excel, Peachtree or MYOB Business Essentials.
  1. Once you’ve clicked the “Export this list as CSV” button, you will be prompted to either open your CSV file or save it to your computer. Select Save.
  2. From the menu bar on your computer, choose File, then Save As…
  3. In the “Save As” dialog box, choose the file type and extension that corresponds to your accounting program in the “Save as type:” drop-down menu. For example, for Microsoft Office Excel Workbook you’ll save as type *.xls.
  4. Choose Save, and you’re good to go!

How do I view my invoices?

Invoices and Payments works similar to online banking. You’ll see a list of all your open accounts; click the account you want to manage to be taken to your invoices for that account. If you only have one account, clicking Invoices and Payments will take you directly to your invoices.

Online Ordering

Which products can be purchased online and picked up in store or scheduled for delivery?

All products normally stocked in your chosen store are available to purchase online for pickup or delivery. Products labeled Ship-to-Store can be ordered online for pickup or delivery. Products labeled "Call for Price" will typically not be available to purchase online for pickup or delivery. These items must be purchased directly in the store.

Can I order more items than are currently available at the store?

Select items that we stock regularly in our store can be over ordered. If you've ordered a larger quantity of an item than is available, the amount that is currently available can be picked up or delivered as usual. The additional quantity will be back ordered, and we'll contact you as soon as it is available. You will not be charged for backordered items until they are picked up or delivered.

Is Buy Online, Pick Up in Store available in my area?

The Buy Online, Pickup in Store option is available at all McCoy's retail locations.

When will my order be ready?

You will receive an email when your order is ready for pickup. You may also receive a text message if you have selected that option. Orders must be placed at least 2 hours before closing for same-day pickup. Orders placed after that time may not be available until the following business day. We are closed on Sundays, so orders received after 3 pm on Saturday will be processed on Monday morning.
If you would like to schedule a time to pick up your order, please include your preferred time in the "additional comments" field during the checkout process. Scheduled pickup times must be at least 2 hours after the order was placed.
If you've indicated that your order needs to be delivered, the store will contact you directly to discuss delivery options.

How do I check my order status?

You will receive an email (or a text if you selected that option) when your order is ready for pickup. Please double-check your email before submitting your order. If you have any questions, please contact the store.

What do I need to bring with me to pick up my order?

The email we send to you alerting you that your is ready will contain a QR code. Please print this email or show it on your device to the employee assisting you. You must also bring a valid government-issued photo ID. Photo ID must match the name on the order. Select items require the individual purchasing or picking up the order to be 18 years or older. We will verify the age of the person picking up orders containing these items.

Why do I have to provide contact information if I’m picking it up?

We must have your contact information so we can alert you when your order is ready or if there are any problems with items in your order. We also want to verify the correct person is picking up the order.

Can I order for someone else to pick up?

Yes, of course! When ordering, please select "Someone else will be picking up the order" option during checkout. Your designated pickup person will need to provide the QR code on the email notifying them the order is ready. They must also bring a valid government-issued photo ID that matches the name on the order. Select items require the individual purchasing or picking it up to be 18 years or older. We will verify the age of the person picking up these items.

Where do I go to pick my order up in the store?

If you have already paid for your order, please reference your "Order Ready for Pickup" email. This email will let you know if you need to go to the lumberyard for your items or if you should go to the customer service desk inside.
For the Lumberyard: Drive to the yard and stop at the stop sign. One of our yard crew members will approach you and help you with your order.
For the Customer Service Desk: When you arrive at the store, go inside, and look for the "Online Order Pickup" sign at the service desk. If you need assistance, any of our team members will be happy to help.
For Curbside: Park in the designated Buy Online, Pickup In-Store parking space and call the phone number for the store to say that you have arrived to pick up your order. If you need assistance, any of our team members will be happy to help.
For Pay In-Store orders, go inside and find the sign that says "Online Order Pickup" at the service desk. A team member will process your payment there and help you get your order. Items may be inside the store or in the lumberyard. If you need assistance, any of our team members will be happy to help.

What happens if my order is for items available in store AND items that must be shipped to the store?

If your order includes some items that are available now and others that are ship-to-store items, the store team will call you to discuss the order with you. You'll be in control. You can opt to wait and pick everything up together when the ship-to-store items come in, or you can pick up the in-store items separately on your chosen pickup date.

Will my vehicle be large enough to transport my purchased items?

Please be aware of local laws when transporting large items. It’s the driver's responsibility to ensure the vehicle is large enough to safely transport the items you are ordering if you have not chosen to have them delivered. Our stores reserve the right to refuse to load items which are oversized or unsafe to transport in the selected vehicle or trailer.

How much is delivery?

Many factors go into determining the cost of delivery. If you select that you are interested in delivery, a team member will call you to discuss delivery prices and dates. Your order will not be delivered until you have approved the timing and the price with the store.

What can I expect if I choose to have my order delivered?

A team member from your store will call you to arrange a time to deliver your order. During this call, they will confirm your delivery address, where you would like the order to be placed, get any access codes necessary for the delivery, and confirm delivery fees.

When will my purchase be delivered?

The store will contact you to schedule your delivery. Most deliveries can be expected within 48 hours after the order has been processed.

Why am I limited on the days I can request my order to be ready?

To ensure order accuracy, orders must be scheduled for pickup within 5 business days. Orders must be placed at least two hours before closing for same-day pickup. We are closed on Sundays, so orders purchased after 3 pm on Saturday will be processed on Monday morning.

How long will you hold my order?

Orders of in-stock items will be held for 7 days from the time of purchase or, in the case of ship-to-store items, 7 days from the time we notified you that your order is ready for pickup. After 7 days, the order will be refunded, and the items returned to inventory unless you've contacted the store and made alternate arrangements to pick up your order or have it delivered. A reasonable attempt will be made to contact you before your order is refunded and canceled.

How do I modify or cancel my order?

We currently accept credit cards, debit cards, in-house commercial credit accounts, PayPal, PayPal Pay in 4, and McCoy's Consumer Credit cards if you pay for your order online. Gift cards cannot be used for any online payment. McCoy's Consumer Credit cards and in-house consumer credit accounts cannot be used to pay for ship-to-store items. Additional forms of payment, such as cash, checks, and gift cards can be used if you choose the option to pay in-store when you place your order. Please note pay in-store is not an option for ship-to-store items.

How soon will you charge my card?

Your card will be charged as soon as the order is processed online. You will receive a confirmation email letting you know your order has been processed.

Can I receive a Military Discount when paying online?

Yes. You must have a store account that's linked to your My McCoy's account and have registered for our Active Duty and Retired Veterans 10% military discount price plan. Only personal accounts, not business accounts, are eligible for our military discount price plan. If you have a personal ag exemption, you can use your military discount. If you do not have a My McCoy's account, you can apply the discount to an online order by selecting the "Pay in-store" option and providing acceptable identification at checkout when you pick up your order. Can I use my coupon online?

Most coupons can be used in-store or online. To use a coupon online, simply add the code in the box in your shopping cart and hit the "apply" button. We occasionally have promotions which include coupons and discounts that are offered for in-store use only. If you would like to use a coupon or discount that is for "in-store use only" while shopping online, choose the "Pay In-Store" option when placing your order and present your coupon at checkout when you pick up your order.

How can I pay with my 800-Revolving Account, 900-Net10 Account, or deposit account?

To pay for an order with your in-house charge or deposit account, you can choose the option to pay online with your commercial credit account or select the "Pay In-Store" option. The order will be charged to your account upon pickup, if paying in-store. The order must be purchased and Picked Up by a previously authorized buyer for your account. How do I apply my tax exemption?

You can apply your tax exemption to your online order by shopping with your tax-exempt account online when signed into your My McCoy’s account and your store account is linked to your online account. If you need assistance in seeing your account online, please call 1-877-542-8986

What if I've submitted my order to the wrong store?

Can I view my online order history?

You can view all your order history for orders placed while signed into your My McCoy's account. You can register
for a My McCoy's account to view your order history for future orders that you place while you are signed in.

Do I have to register online to place an online order?

No, you don't have to register for a My McCoy's account to place an order online if you choose to checkout as a guest. However, if you check out as a guest you will not have access to your online order history.

How do I create a project list?

You must be signed in to your My McCoy's account to create project lists. Just start shopping and when you see a product you'd like to save on a project list, simply click the paper and pen icon at the top right corner of the product card. A dropdown menu will appear. This enables you to create a new list or select an existing project list. From the project list, you can add all your items to your cart, or select individual items.

How do I create a project list?

Sign in to your My McCoy's account and select "Project Lists" from the drop-down menu. Your project lists will appear in the order you created them, with the most recent on at the top. Simply click on the box to the left of the project list name. A pink Delete Project Lists button will appear at the bottom of the page. You can select multiple lists to delete at once.

What is a McCoy's Gift Card?

A McCoy's Gift Card is a plastic, rechargeable, variable-amount card that can be used to purchase merchandise at any McCoy's Building Supply location. Are there any non-usage fees associated with a McCoy’s Gift Card? Do McCoy’s Gift Cards expire?

No. There are no non-usage fees and McCoy's gift cards never expire.

Can I buy a McCoy's Gift Card and have it sent to someone else?

Yes! We can ship your McCoy's Gift Card purchase to anyone with a valid street address in the United States. We cannot ship to PO Boxes, and we cannot ship McCoy's Gift Cards outside of the U.S. Gift cards can be purchased online and emailed as a gift.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We cannot accept online payments for gift cards with a McCoy's Consumer Credit Card for gift cards.

What is the shipping time?

Shipping time will vary depending on the method of shipping you choose. The standard shipping option is done through the U.S. Postal Office, takes 2-5 business days and is free to you. The priority shipping option is also done through the U.S Postal Office, takes 2-3 days and costs $7.25.Please note that gift cards are the only items we ship. Please speak to your local McCoy’s if you have questions about delivery.
Please note: Orders received between Friday 12 noon Central Time and Monday 8:00 am Central Time will be shipped on Monday. Additionally, shipping may be delayed during the following holidays: Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Each gift card purchase is a separate transaction online. If you'd like to purchase multiple gift cards, please complete an order for each card. If you're shopping for other items, please complete that transaction first and then purchase your gift card. You can purchase your gift card(s) in-store during the same transaction if you are purchasing other items.
